Pay data
Pay fields appear only with the pay permission, and only if the person who connected your app can see pay.
Pay appears on an employment's rate and basis, a shift's cost, a timesheet's pay, the cost in timesheet totals and labour costs, and a project's budget. Each is left out unless your connection holds pay:read and the person who connected your app can see pay themselves.
Pay is always worked out by Shiftly from the business's awards and pay rules. Your app can read the awards with payrules:read, and the result with pay:read, and never sets either: a rate on an employment, a cost on a shift and the pay on a timesheet are all read-only.
Costs include superannuation and allowances, and are in Australian dollars. They are the business's own labour cost, not what a worker is paid out after tax.
Tax file numbers, bank details, superannuation fund details and identity documents are never available to a partner app, with any permission.
- Awards need payrules:read.
- See Permissions for how a connection's effective permissions can be fewer than it was granted.
